Gazing at the Snow

Snow falls softly near
The bank of my dreams, I see
You are smiling

Snow stops falling down
I chance a glance at your face
You are frowning now

Is the snow pretty?
Is it more special than I am?
You like it better

No you reprimand
The snow is pretty but I
Don’t like it better

I turn away now
I know that you are lying
Your love is the snow

You look distantly
Into the dark horizon
What do you see there?

I see your smile
You remark as I look up
That’s why I like the snow

That cannot be true
I will not let it be true
Stop all your lying

I start yelling now
And I’m shocked to see your eyes
Are they full with tears?

Where are you going?
But you are already gone
I’m  full of regret.
